Magnetic Resonance Imaging Systems

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems enable medical professionals to visualize the internal structures of the body with exceptional clarity. Through MRI images, physicians can easily identify treatment areas, track progress, and rule out serious issues with improved speed and accuracy. MRI scans are non-invasive, non-radiation-based procedures, do not require hospitalization and have no known side effects. These systems utilize a powerful magnet, radio signals, and advanced computer software technology. By capitalizing on the response of certain atoms in our cells, which lightly "resonate" in the presence of magnetic fields, MRIs can generate amazingly detailed and precise images of internal organs, muscles, connective tissue, and the central nervous system. Detailed MRIs enhance physicians' ability to assess specific body parts and diagnose certain diseases that may not be detectable through other means. MRIs are commonly used to examine the brain, heart, liver, kidneys, pancreas, breast, ovaries, uterus, prostate, and other internal organs, as well as diagnose sports injuries and identify the presence of certain diseases.
